"A Right Royal Romp!"

2-5pm on the Playing Field—Don’t be late!

• Bring your own picnic - drinks too. A few tables and chairs will be available, but do bring something to sit on, just in case.
• - Jimmy Doherty will open the event, and highlight the Jubilee tree. He will then be assisted by a child from the village, to formally unveil one of the 3 new pieces of play equipment.
• - This will be followed by an interactive little pageant with King Rupert of Waldy and his entourage.  If you would like to take part, come dressed as a courtier, or other member of the Royal household. Perhaps a cook, a butler, or even a horse - let your imagination run free! Prizes will be given!
• - After this - games for the young and not so young.
• - There will be a craft stall for children to decorate their own crown.
• - A photo "booth" so you can capture your own photos of the event.
• - An Ice-cream van will arrive at sometime during the afternoon - listen out for the chimes!
• - An easy listening 5 piece jazz band - "The Wednesday Men" (Musical Director Bernard Westren 07900477512), will play for approximately the last hour.
