Next meeting: Monday 19^th Jan 7-8pm at the Village Hall

We hope everyone enjoyed the first official meeting. Congratulations for turning up and having a go, and thanks to the more fluent speakers who helped out us beginners/rusty students.

To help address the problem of different levels, we thought it would be good to have a theme or role play each time. This gives us rusty speakers/beginners a chance to come prepared. One of our members has drafted the attached, so we’ve got something to work from.

Of course, if you’d prefer to just sit and shoot the breeze or try one of the games (harder than they look!) then there will be other tables to sit round.

Next week, Elisabeth (French & Swedish tutor) won’t be with us, but Barbara should be there (French, German and some Spanish) and we’ll ask her to come with the “holiday shopping” theme in mind. Contact Libby for more information.
