He  manages the Suffolk Orchards Group and is marvellously knowledgable - about varieties (bring your fruit for him to identify), growing, the history of orchards, local distinctiveness, setting up new orchards (and anything more than a collection of five trees is classified as an orchard!) and retrieving old orchards.
